Vizhinjam Lighthouse
Located at a distance of 10 km away from Trivandarum, this light house was built in the year 1925. The light house is a 36 m tall tower that has an elevation of 57 m above the sea level. It contains 144 steps and the ladder to get to the top, has made of steel. From the top most point, one can see beautiful views of coconut trees on one side and an excellent view of the Arabian Sea on the other side.
